The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after being struck by a train in Malakwa on March 21, 2015.
He was Gilles Robert Joseph Thivierge, aged 61, of Malakwa, a small community about 11 kilometres east of Sicamous.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Thivierge has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
