The BC Coroners Service and Kamloops RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was found deceased in Kamloops on Feb. 21, 2015.

The man was found by passersby in a wooded area off Rose Hill Road in Kamloops, an area known to be popular with hikers and dog-walkers. He is believed to have died within the previous 48 hours of being found. Foul play has been ruled out in this death.

He is an older Caucasian male with blue eyes, 183cm (6 feet) in height, weighing about 89kg (195lbs). He was wearing a black “Raising the Roof” toque, grey and brown Navajo-style patterned Wind River jacket, black sweatshirt with “Talisman Energy” on the right sleeve, blue dress shirt, “Denver Hayes” blue jeans, black rubber boots, a black leather belt and a silver Timex watch.

If you have any information regarding the identity of this person, please contact the Interior Regional Office of the BC Coroners Service at 250 861-7429, Kamloops RCMP at 250 828-3000 or CRIME STOPPERS at 1 800 222-TIPS.

Photos of the man’s watch and jacket can be found on the BC Coroners website at http://www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/coroners/unidentified-cases/index.htm along with a sketch of a facial reconstruction. It should be noted that the facial reconstruction was completed by a forensic artist and should not be considered an exact likeness.
