The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of two persons who died following an air crash on April 13, 2015.
Killed in the crash were Robert Brandt, aged 34, and Kevin Wang, aged 32, both residents of the Vancouver area.
Mr. Brandt was the pilot and Mr. Wang the co-pilot of a twin-engine Swearingen SA-226 plane that was flying cargo from Vancouver International Airport to Prince George for Carson Air when it was reported missing after disappearing off radar shortly after 7 a.m. on April 13.
Following a massive search the downed craft was found in the North Shore mountains. Both men were deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and Transportation Safety Board continue to investigate these deaths.
The families of both persons have been notified of their deaths. On behalf of the families, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
