The BC Coroners Service and West Vancouver Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance to identify a male who was found deceased under the Lions Gate Bridge on Feb. 15, 2015.

He is a slim white man with brown hair and a full beard, between 20 and 35 years of age and 170cm-178cm in height (5’7” to 5’10”). He was wearing a yellow-orange “Star Wars” t-shirt, a hand-knitted navy scarf, a grey hooded sweatshirt with red and blue stripes, red polka-dot boxer shorts, black “Cheap Monday” jeans, grey “Pillow Paws” grippy socks, black “Vans” shoes, and a green “Northern Reflections” rain jacket.

He was found on the beach at the high tide line under the bridge and is believed to have been in the water only a short time.

If you have any information regarding the identity of this person, please contact the BC Coroners Service Metro Region at 604 660-7708, West Vancouver PD at 604 925-7300 or CRIME STOPPERS at 1 800 222-TIPS.

Photos of the man’s clothing can be found on the BC Coroners website at http://www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/coroners/unidentified-cases/index.htm along with a sketch of a facial reconstruction. It should be noted that the facial reconstruction was completed by a forensic artist and should not be considered an exact likeness.
