The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Keremeos on April 17, 2015.
He was Samuel Houle, aged 20, a resident of Quebec who had recently arrived in Keremeos for summer employment.
Mr. Houle was a pedestrian crossing Highway 3 near Keremeos in the late evening hours of April 17, 2015, when he was struck by a pickup truck. Mr. Houle was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Houle’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
