The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died in Campbell River on April 27, 2015.

She was Florence Jean Drake, aged 43, of Campbell River.

Ms. Drake was found unresponsive by a passersby near Chances Casino in Campbell River in the morning of April 27. Emergency services were called immediately, but she could not be resuscitated.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out in this case.

The family of Ms. Drake has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
