The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Field on April 24, 2015.

He was Pardeep Raj Singh Guron, aged 37, of Calgary, Alberta.

Mr. Guron was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle that was heading westbound on Highway 1 at about 7:45 p.m. on April 24 when, about four kilometres east of Field, it was in a head-on collision with an eastbound car. Mr. Guron was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Guron’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
