The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following an ATV incident near Tumbler Ridge on June 23, 2015.  

He was Steven Young, aged 36, of Tumbler Ridge.

Mr. Young was the operator of a quad ATV which went out of control, rolled and ended up in nearby trees just before 5 p.m. on June 23. Mr. Young was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Young has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
