The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died as a result of a motor vehicle collision near Kamloops on July 10, 2015.

He was Stewart Walter Green, aged 24, of Savona.

Mr. Green was the single occupant of a vehicle travelling westbound on Highway #1, approximately 10 kilometres west of Kamloops on the afternoon of July 10, 2015 when his vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with an eastbound vehicle. Mr. Green died at the scene. The other driver was transported to hospital for treatment.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Central Interior Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Green’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
