The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following a motor vehicle incident near Mackenzie on Aug. 1, 2015.

He is Kyle Robert Bohati, aged 28, of Nanaimo.

Mr. Bohati was the driver and sole occupant of a northbound pickup truck which left the roadway and rolled on Highway 39, about one kilometre from the junction with Highway 97, at about 7 a.m. on Aug. 1. Mr. Bohati was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Bohati has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
