The BC Coroners Service has announced the dates for a public inquest into the deaths of Angie Elsie Robinson and Robert Victor Able Robinson.
The inquest will begin on Sept. 28, 2015, at the Supreme Court in Prince Rupert.
Ms. Robinson, aged 39, and her son Robert, aged 16, were found dead in the family home in Prince Rupert on April 3, 2014.
Presiding coroner Michael Egilson and a jury will hear evidence from witnesses under oath to determine the facts surrounding this death. The jury will have the opportunity to make recommendations aimed at preventing deaths under similar circumstances.
An inquest is a formal process that allows for public presentation of evidence relating to a death.
