The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Spallumcheen on Aug. 21, 2015.
He was Matthew Jordon Maxime, aged 30, of Enderby.
Mr. Maxime was the driver and sole occupant of a car that left the roadway, Highway 97, near Eagle Rock Road in Spallumcheen at about 4:20 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2015. Mr. Maxime was rushed to Vernon Jubilee Hospital, but died there shortly after arrival.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Maxime’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
