Nominations for the honorary designation of Queen’s Counsel are being accepted until Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, by the Ministry of Justice.
The title, bestowed by the Lieutenant Governor on the endorsement of the Attorney General, based on recommendations from an advisory committee, recognizes British Columbia lawyers for distinctive merit and contribution to the legal profession.
The Q.C. designation is an honour conferred annually on members of the legal profession to recognize excellence and exceptional contribution. The successful candidates will have demonstrated professional integrity, good character and have been a member of the British Columbia bar for at least five years.
