The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following an industrial accident at a sawmill in Creston on Sept. 15, 2015.
He was Dustin William John Gerlinsky, aged 28, of Kitchener, a small community about 16 kilometres east of Creston.
Mr. Gerlinksy was working at the sawmill on 32nd St. in Creston at about 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 when he was struck by a piece of equipment. He was rushed to hospital in Creston but could not be resuscitated.
The BC Coroners Service, RCMP and WorkSafeBC continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Gerlinsky has been notified of his death.
