The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident near Revelstoke on Sept. 28, 2015.

She is Nadia Sinead Doyle, aged 24, of Calgary.

Ms. Doyle was the front-seat passenger of a car that was proceeding eastbound along Highway 1 about 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 28. About 47 kilometres east of Revelstoke, the car left the roadway and rolled about 15 metres down an embankment. Ms. Doyle was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Ms. Doyle’s family has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
