The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Parson on Oct. 30, 2015.
He was Michael Christopher Swanson, aged 36, of Vernon.
Mr. Swanson was the driver and sole occupant of a small commercial transport truck that left the roadway, went down an embankment and rolled on Highway 95 about 35 kilometres south of Golden at the small community of Parson at about 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 30. Mr. Swanson was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service, WorkSafeBC and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Swanson’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
