The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died near Gibsons on Nov. 14, 2015.
He was Harry Paul, aged 56, of Gibsons.
Mr. Paul was found seated on a bench under a covered outdoor walkway at a local motel in the early hours of Nov. 14, 2015. Despite resuscitation efforts, he was declared deceased at the scene and the coroner was notified. The Sunshine Coast RCMP have ruled out foul play.
Mr. Paul’s cause of death has not been determined, pending post-mortem test results. The BC Coroners Service investigation is continuing.
The family of Mr. Paul has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
