The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a trailer fire in Surrey on Nov. 27, 2015.

He was William Philip Peltz, aged 52, of Surrey.  

At about 7:20 a.m. on Nov. 27, 2015, neighbours noted an apparent fire in the RV in which Mr. Peltz lived in an RV park on 160 St. in Surrey. They immediately called 911.  The Surrey fire department attended, and found Mr. Peltz inside the RV, deceased.

The BC Coroners Service, RCMP and fire investigators continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Peltz has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
