Starting today, the public will have more opportunities to participate in the transportation planning study of the Central Okanagan through the new website at: http://engage.gov.bc.ca/okanagansecondcrossing/
The new website is part of the public engagement portion of the three-year transportation planning study exploring future mobility needs, including route options and potential timing for a future second crossing of Okanagan Lake.
The site includes detailed information about the study and the public can provide feedback through an online survey.
Feedback received from the public will be considered in conjunction with a technical review, existing provincial plans and local government input.
Members of the public are also reminded of the two open houses happening today and tomorrow:
- Kelowna Open House ─ Tuesday, May 19 - 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ramada Kelowna Hotel and Conference Centre, 2170 Harvey Ave., Kelowna
- West Kelowna Open House ─ Wednesday, May 20 - 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Westbank Lions Community Centre, 2466 Main St., Westbank
