The previously planned schedule for work this weekend has been delayed until Aug. 14-16, 2015, inclusive.

Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are advised to expect delays on the Lions Gate Bridge during these dates for nighttime repaving of the Lions Gate Bridge north approach viaduct.

Please check www.drivebc.ca for up-to-date traffic advisories as paving activities are weather dependent. The schedule below may change:

• Aug. 14 and 15: one lane open in each direction from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., with single-lane alternating traffic from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
• Aug. 16: one lane open in each direction from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. with temporary traffic stoppages in both directions.

Motorists should expect traffic queues and delays and are encouraged to use the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge crossing as an alternative route. All travellers are reminded to obey signs and watch for traffic control personnel.
