Beginning at 7 p.m. today, there will be a southbound lane closure in place on Highway 1 near the McKenzie/Admirals intersection to allow crews to undertake geotechnical investigations as part of early work for the McKenzie Interchange Project.
This lane closure will be for one night only. All lanes will be open to traffic by 5 a.m., Friday, Sept. 4 to ensure travellers are not affected on the long weekend.
Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are advised to exercise caution, obey posted speeds and watch for traffic control personnel.
