Improvements coming to B.C. airports

Projects receiving B.C. Air Access Program funding include:

  • South Cariboo Regional Airport (108 Mile): $26,250 for the purchase and installation of a new emergency generator.
  • Chilliwack Municipal Airport: $315,584 for the Culvert Extension and Rehabilitation project.
  • Creston Valley Regional Airport: $157,877 for upgrades to the runway lighting.
  • Grand Forks Municipal Airport: $45,000 for Beacon Site upgrades.
  • Langley Regional Airport: $287,025 to rehabilitate the taxiways and aprons.
  • Long Beach Airport: $1.27 million for runway lighting.
  • Squamish Airport: $123,000 to rehabilitate the taxiway and apron.
  • Northwest Regional Airport (Terrace-Kitimat): $4.42 million toward expansion of the airport facility.
  • Williams Lake Airport: $486,387 to rehabilitate the runway and taxiway.
  • Dawson Creek Regional Airport: $82,311 to replace the terminal roof, add CCTV to the grounds and replacing the secure key control access system.
