The deadline for providing input into the first round of public consultation on the McKenzie Interchange project is one week away.
The project team is gathering feedback on the interchange concept work that has been done to date and what people’s key priorities are for the project moving forward. If you haven’t already, now is your chance to add your voice to the 1,600 others who attended the public open house, filled out a feedback form or contacted the project team by phone or email.
You can access project information, fill in the online feedback form, and sign up to receive project updates at: http://engage.gov.bc.ca/mckenzieinterchange/
You may also send comments or questions to the project team by phoning 250 387-8700 or e-mailing: mckenzieinterchange@gov.bc.ca
After 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, this input will be considered along with technical and engineering factors, financial information and feedback from local governments and other key stakeholders as the project moves into the next phase of selecting the concept and proceeding further into detailed design.
There will be additional opportunities in the future to provide feedback as the project proceeds through design, including another public open house in spring 2016.
