Finance Minister Michael de Jong travels to Ontario, Quebec and the United States to profile investment opportunities and promote British Columbia’s economic success story.
From April 13-19, de Jong will meet with investors in Toronto, Montreal and New York to highlight B.C.’s ongoing economic strength, successive balanced budgets, favourable credit rating and investor opportunities, including LNG.
In Toronto, de Jong will speak to the Toronto Region Board of Trade to highlight opportunities for B.C. and Ontario to continue to work together to further strengthen economic growth for Canada. In New York, he’ll speak to the Canadian Association of New York.
The estimated travel and accommodation cost for the minister and his chief of staff is approximately $8,800. Information on final costs will be made available.
