The public is advised that Jamieson Creek Forest Service Road (FSR) will be periodically closed between 4.0 km and 9.0 km, for periods of up to two hours, beginning Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, and ending March 18, 2016.
Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations staff will be working on upgrading and widening a portion of the road to improve public safety.
Jamieson Creek FSR is located on the west side of the North Thompson River about 20 kilometres north of the City of Kamloops. This road is part of B.C.’s 55,000-kilometre forest service road network that provides access to British Columbia’s backcountry.
