The BC Wildfire Service is responding to a wildfire burning in Farwell Canyon, B.C. and roughly 22 kilometres south of Riske Creek, B.C.
The wildfire is an estimated 2.5 hectares in size, and resulting smoke may be visible from the Highway 20 corridor and the community of Riske Creek.
The BC Wildfire Service is currently responding to this incident with three firefighters and airtanker support. An additional 20 firefighters and two helicopters will be on site tomorrow morning.
This fire was discovered and responded to this evening, and its cause is currently under investigation.
