Recreation users and residents are advised that the Green Lake-Nolan Lake Forest Service Road in the 100 Mile House Forest District has been closed indefinitely due to safety concerns.
BC Timber Sales closed a small section of the road on Dec. 1, 2016, due to a decaying wooden culvert near the 5.5-kilometre mark. This section of road is not passable by motor vehicles or recreational vehicles, including snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and other off-road vehicles until further notice.
The closure will not affect access to any homes or communities. The repair work is scheduled to take place during the summer or fall of 2017. BC Timber Sales thanks the members of the public for their patience during this time.
For more information about this temporary road closure please contact Krista Blades, Engineering Technician at 250 395-7845 or via email at: Krista.Blades@gov.bc.ca
