Premier Christy Clark issued the following statement on the tragic events in La Loche, Saskatchewan:

“Like many Canadians, I have watched the growing epidemic of mass shootings across North America with great sadness.

“Gun violence is always shocking - but there is no comprehending the evil that would drive anyone to harm a child.

“My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the students who will carry this tragedy with them.”
