The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after an incident while riding his bicycle on the False Creek seawall in Vancouver on Jan. 6, 2016.
He was Juan Loro Avis, 45 years of age, of Vancouver.
The BC Coroners Service and Vancouver Police Department continue to investigate this death, and no additional information is available from the BC Coroners Service at this time. Questions about the police investigation should be directed to the Vancouver Police Department.
Mr. Loro Avis’ family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
