The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident near Taylor on Feb. 24, 2016.
He was Eric Phillip Haynal, aged 58, of Dawson Creek.
Mr. Haynal was the driver and sole occupant of a southbound pickup truck that collided with a northbound semi-trailer unit on Highway 97N near 228 Road near Taylor in the early morning hours of Feb. 24, 2016. He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Haynal has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
