The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident in Nanaimo on March 1, 2016.
She was Wanda Ann Gasper, aged 55, of Nanaimo.
Ms. Gasper was crossing Bruce Avenue near Albion Street in Nanaimo about 6:30 a.m. on March 1, 2016 when she was struck by a truck. She died before reaching hospital.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Ms. Gasper’s family has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
