The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of two males who died after a motor vehicle incident in Cranbrook on March 4, 2016.
They are Levi Mackay Robertson, aged 19, and Brennan Troy Johnson, aged 17, both of Cranbrook.
Mr. Robertson was the driver and Mr. Johnson the passenger in a northbound pickup truck that left the road, struck a tree and rolled on Gold Creek Road near 42nd Avenue North about 1:10 a.m. on March 4, 2016. Both men were deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
The families of both men have been notified of their deaths. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
