The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Clearwater on April 9, 2016.
He was Gary Dwayne Flath, aged 61, of Okanagan Falls.
Mr. Flath was the driver of an SUV that was heading northbound on Highway 5 about 7:30 a.m. on April 9, 2016. About 15 kilometres north of Clearwater, the SUV left the road and went down an embankment. Mr. Flath was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Flath’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
