The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Ucluelet on June 26, 2016.
He was Jodi Aaron Rush, aged 31, of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Mr. Rush was operating a motorcycle on Highway 4 heading eastbound at about 2:30 p.m. on June 26, 2016, when, about two kilometres east of Hydro Hill near Kennedy Lake, his motorcycle was in collision with a westbound tractor-trailer unit. Mr. Rush was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Rush’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
