The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man and a woman who died in a motor vehicle incident near Chetwynd on June 24, 2016.
They were Danielle Kristen Hill, aged 26, and Shawn David Taylor, aged 43, both of Chetwynd.
Ms. Hill was the driver of, and Mr. Taylor the passenger in, a car which, at about 10:50 a.m. on June 24, 2016, was involved in a head-on collision with a pickup truck on Highway 97 about five kilometres east of Chetwynd. Both died before they could be transported to hospital.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this incident.
The families of both victims have been notified of their deaths. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
