The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died after a motor vehicle incident near Harrison Mills on Aug. 13, 2016.
He was Alexander Logan Carpenter, aged 27, of Vancouver.
Mr. Carpenter was a passenger in a jeep that was travelling on the Chehalis Forestry Road at about 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, when it left the travelled surface of the road and tumbled down a 60-metre embankment. Mr. Carpenter was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Carpenter’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
