The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident in Prince George on Aug. 25, 2016.
He was Louis John Olson, aged 36, of Prince George.
At about 9:20 a.m. on Aug. 25, 2016, Mr. Olson was riding his mountain bike eastbound on 15th Avenue in Prince George when, at the intersection with Carney Avenue, he was in a collision with a semi-trailer unit. He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service, Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement, and the RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Olson has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
