For the eighth consecutive year, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) has been named to an exclusive list of the province’s best employers.

The prestigious list of B.C.’s Top Employers – which highlights the LDB as a progressive workplace offering competitive salaries and great benefits – is featured in today’s Vancouver Sun.

Throughout the province, more than 4,000 full- and part-time employees work for the LDB in a variety of retail, wholesale, distribution and corporate roles. Recognized as being a fair, open and modern employer that values its employees’ contributions and promotes work-life balance, the LDB was also recently named among Canada’s top employers, in 2012.

The LDB is among Canada’s largest beverage alcohol distributors and retailers, and one of the largest liquor purchasers in the world. Every year, the LDB contributes approximately $1 billion to the Province of British Columbia to help support vital health and social services.
