The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure invites you to attend an open house to provide feedback about proposed improvements to the Highway 97 Boucherie and Westlake Road intersections.
In 2014, the ministry began planning for improvements to the intersections to increase safety and mobility along the Highway 97 corridor and meet the future traffic demands that projected population and economic growth in the area will bring.
Based on initial planning and discussions with the Westbank First Nation and City of West Kelowna, the ministry has developed conceptual plans for the two intersections, and now is seeking community input on these plans.
The public is welcome to attend the open houses scheduled for:
- March 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. – Super 8 West Kelowna, 1655 Westgate Road, West Kelowna
- March 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. – Sensisyusten Multi-Purpose Facility, 1920 Quail Lane, Westbank
Media are invited to attend the March 2 open house between 3 and 4 p.m. Ministry staff will be on hand to answer questions.
