The public is invited to attend a drop-in information session on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, about the plan to improve the connection between Highway 19 and the north Courtenay area.
This session is an opportunity for the public to review information about the project and provide input. The ministry’s project team will be on hand to go over the proposed plan, answer questions and gather feedback.
If you are unable to attend, the information presented will be posted online after the start of the open house at: www.gov.bc.ca/northcourtenayconnector
You may also send your comments or questions to the project manager, Darren Englund, at: Darren.Englund@gov.bc.ca
The North Courtenay Connector will improve east-west connectivity and increase route capacity, and includes a new two lane bridge to replace the existing single lane structure. This will allow better access to important services in the region, including the new Comox Valley hospital, airport and ferry terminal.
