These service providers in the Kamloops and Thompson region are receiving one-time funding to provide community literacy programs in 2017-18:

Thompson Rivers University is partnering with the following:

  • Yellowhead Community Services Society to deliver the Partner Assisted Learning program in Barriere.
  • Yellowhead Community Services Society to deliver the Partner Assisted Learning program in Clearwater.
  • Twin Rivers Education Centre to deliver the Street School Community Adult Literacy program in Kamloops.
  • Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Society to deliver the Urban Aboriginal Engagement Program in Williams Lake.
  • Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Society to deliver Reaching Learners 100 Mile House and Canim Lake in 100 Mile House.
  • Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Society to deliver the PAL 100 Mile House program in 100 Mile House.
  • Lillooet Area Library Association to deliver the Lillooet Adult Literacy Outreach program in Lillooet.
  • Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Society to deliver Williams Lake Positive Action and Aboriginal Parents as Literacy Supports program in Williams Lake.
