Supporting adult literacy in the Okanagan and Columbia Shuswap

These service providers in the Okanagan and Columbia Shuswap region are receiving one-time funding to provide community literacy programs in 2017-18:

Okanagan College is partnering with the:

  • Project Literacy Kelowna Society to deliver the Project Literacy’s Employment Specific Tutoring program in the Okanagan Regional District.
  • Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy to deliver the Revelstoke Family Literacy Program in Revelstoke.
  • Revelstoke Literacy Action Committee Community Group to deliver the Volunteer Literacy Tutoring Program in Revelstoke.
  • Okanagan Regional Library to deliver the South Okanagan Community Literacy program in the South Okanagan.
