In efforts to protect critical moose habitat and to restore moose populations in the Murphy Watershed near Lac La Hache, the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations is proposing an access management plan, which includes blocking and deactivating select roads in the watershed.

The plan can be viewed at the 100 Mile House Natural Resource District Office, located at 300 Cariboo Highway 97, 100 Mile House.

Members of the public are invited to comment on the proposed plan, with a deadline for comments by June 30, 2017. Comments can be made in writing to Kane.Copley@gov.bc.ca or by mail to:
