The geographic area for the access restriction around the Dunn Lake wildfire has been expanded and will remain in force until the public is otherwise notified.
The area under restriction has increased to protect the safety of the public and firefighting personnel.
The existing area restriction around Thuya creek remains in effect until further notice.
The area restriction order means that no one apart from authorized personnel may enter these areas at any time. The order applies to all Crown land within the geographic boundaries of the area restriction. Individuals who own or lease property within the boundaries of the area restriction may still access their property via the shortest route, once the evacuation orders or alerts in this area are rescinded.
