Premier John Horgan has released the following statement in honour of Thanksgiving:

“As families throughout British Columbia gather together this weekend, let us give thanks for each other, for our friends and loved ones and the province we call home.

“At Thanksgiving, we share our good fortune by helping others. I want to thank every British Columbian who donated to local food banks, or is volunteering at local kitchens and community centres this weekend to make sure every British Columbian can enjoy in the bounty of Thanksgiving.

“I wish everyone celebrating Thanksgiving a safe and happy holiday.”
