The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died as the result of a motor vehicle incident on Highway #1 near Canoe on Jan. 2, 2017.
He was Richard Allen Davidson, age 55, of Sicamous.
Mr. Davidson was operating a truck westbound towards Salmon Arm when his vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound semi-tractor trailer unit.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Davidson’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
