For the ninth consecutive year, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) celebrates being named to an exclusive list of the province’s best employers.

The list of BC’s Top Employers, featured in today’s Vancouver Sun, recognizes the LDB as an innovative organization that supports an inclusive work culture and offers great employee benefits. The LDB has  been included on this prestigious list nine times since the competition began in 2006.

The LDB employs more than 4,000 full- and part-time employees. From BC Liquor Store clerks and product consultants, to LDB warehouse workers and wholesale customer care employees, to finance and IT professionals, the LDB’s diverse workforce serves communities throughout the province.

The LDB is among Canada’s largest beverage-alcohol distributors and retailers, and one of the world’s largest liquor purchasers. Every year, the LDB contributes approximately $1 billion to the Province of British Columbia, which helps support vital health and social services.
