Several side roads in the small Shuswap community of Tappen will be resurfaced this fall, improving road conditions for local residents and tourists.
“Providing smoother roads is important to the Tappen community, including the local wineries and other businesses that rely on a strong rural network to ensure safe access for their visitors,” said Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Claire Trevena. “This resurfacing project is now tendered and we anticipate that work will begin by late September.”
Roads that will be fully or partially resurfaced include:
- Notch Hill Road
- Tappen Valley Road
- Tappen-Notch Hill Road
- Carlin Road
- Birch Road
- London Lane
- Partridge Road
- Skimikin Road
- Abbington Lane
- Bolton Lane
A tender call is now posted on BC Bid.
