The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has completed road improvements along the westbound lanes of Highway 1 from the Lynn Valley overpass to the Taylor Way overpass in North Vancouver.
The road rehabilitation involved re-paving to improve comfort and safety for drivers along this well-travelled stretch of road, providing benefit for residents, local businesses and the community at large.
Work on this $1.39-million project is now complete and roads are fully open to traffic.
The ministry is committed to rehabilitating highways and bridges throughout British Columbia, and to building new infrastructure where it is needed. The B.C. government will continue to invest in transportation infrastructure for the safe, reliable and efficient movement of people and goods.
