Do you want to learn more about the Highway 13 widening project near the Aldergrove/Lynden border?
If so, please attend the upcoming information session on Oct. 25, 2017. This will be an opportunity for the public to review the design and to offer feedback.
A key section of Highway 13 will be widened from two lanes to five lanes, building more capacity for cross-border traffic at the Aldergrove/Lynden border crossing. The project also includes a separate NEXUS lane and specific lanes for slower moving commercial vehicles.
The information session will also provide information on the plans for more cycling and pedestrian connections, environmental strategies, and construction timelines.
Staff from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be available to answer questions and provide further details on the project.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the information session scheduled for:
Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Poppy Estates Golf Course
